Rural Appreciation Celebrates Harvest, 4-H Youth
42nd Annual Hamburger Feed Set for Tuesday, July 30.
The McPherson Chamber of Commerce Agriculture Committee will host the 42nd Annual Rural Appreciation in conjunction with the McPherson County 4-H Fair on Tuesday, July 30. This partnership celebrates the completion of wheat harvest as well as supports the 4-H youth in their agriculture projects and endeavors. The hamburger feed will be held at the 4-H Barn on 600 West Woodside in McPherson from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The Chamber staff and its Ag Committee members are asking for your help in sponsoring this event through contribution. If you wish to help sponsor this event, please send your contribution by July 20, 2013 to the Chamber Office, P.O. Box 616, McPherson, KS 67460. No contribution is too small. Chamber members, if you’d like to volunteer that evening, we could sure use your help – just give the Chamber Office a call, 241-3303. Besides, it’s not that often you get the opportunity to meet with nearly 600 people in such a short amount of time!
