Celebrating Manufacturing Month in McPherson
The McPherson Chamber of Commerce and the McPherson Industrial Development Co. invite you to participate in tours during Manufacturing Month. With over 50 manufacturers in McPherson County, the McPherson City and County Commissioners have signed proclamations designating October as Manufacturing Month. This annual event encourages manufacturers to open their doors to showcase the potential of modern manufacturing and foster interest in manufacturing careers.
We invite you to attend any or all of the events listed below.
• Viega is kicking off the National Manufacturing Day on Friday, October 2nd by hosting an Open House from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. 2211 Viega Ave., McPherson
• Bradbury Co.will open it’s doors Tuesday, October 6th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. 1200 E. Cole, Moundridge.
• Hospira, a company of Pfizer will offer tours on Friday, October 23rd. This event will be limited to high school classes and only 50 people total due to security restrictions.
• CertainTeed will have an Open House Wednesday, October 28th from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. 873 N. Hickory, McPherson.
