McPherson Eye Care- Where YOU are their focus!

New day, new learning opportunities at Chamber Connections. Although many attendees knew that Dr. Tammy Odle Goering and Dr. Jan Turnbull Hageman have been business partners for quite some time, most were unaware that they are also cousins. They shared their childhood around Stockton, KS, both graduated from K-State and both received their Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry. Dr. Goering established her practice in 1989 on Euclid street and later partnered with Dr. Hageman to open McPherson Eye Care at 1323 E. Kansas, September of 1995. Serving the McPherson community with quality eye care and the latest in technology.

Bring on the sunshine! No worries about UV rays or looking cool, McPherson Eye Care reintroduced the Ray-Ban line to their sun wear selection. They have several lines and styles to choose from, plus, both the Ray-Ban’s and Oakley’s are available in prescription lenses. Did you know the Bausch & Lomb company was commissioned by the US Government to develop Ray-Ban sunglasses for military pilots in 1937? You know, aviator glasses (Tom Cruise in Top Gun)! In 1956 they introduced what is known as the Wayfarer style (the popular frame in the Breakfast Club & Risky Business) and in the 1980’s the Clubmaster frame became an instant classic (FYI- the kind Denzel Washington wore in Malcom X). Stop by McPherson Eye Care, 1323 E. Kansas to try on some Ray-Bans, other sun ware lines, or pick out a new pair of frames. Be sure to ask about The Ultimate Lens Package for a great deal.
