A turnkey construction and maintenance company is changing the McPherson landscape one project at a time. Prairie Landworks was started by Tom Saffel in 2012 and has since expanded into several business divisions with 50 employees. Tom said they are “proud to be in McPherson” and “happy to continue to grow”.

You have probably noticed a few of the Prairie Landworks building construction projects around town and will continue to see their quality construction for years to come. Prairie Landworks recently built the McPherson Co-Op Credit Union, remodeled the west wing of the First United Methodist Church and has won awards for the amazing KMU building.

Prairie Landworks also has a civil construction division that is responsible for concrete structures, potable water lines and parking lots. They are busy with concrete work at CHS and installing a scale and unloading pit at Grain Craft. The piping construction division of Prairie Landworks fabricates and installs process piping and is currently engaged with projects at ONEOK.
