The McPherson Community Theatre is lining up the cast and crew for the State Fair; screenplay by Oscar Hammerstein II and music by Richard Rodgers. Auditions will be Saturday, March 11th from 10 am-12 & 1-4 pm and Sunday, March 12th from 1-4 at the Greer Auditorium, Wesley Black Fine Arts Center at CCCK. You can sign up for a time slot at this link or make an appearance during the afternoon of the auditions. New to theatre performances? Check out this helpful flyer on what to expect. Of course, any production needs a crew for costumes, props, hair & makeup and much more. Contact the McPherson Community Theatre at 241-1374 or firstname.lastname@example.org for ways you can share your talents and get involved behind the scenes. It’s also a great way to involve the whole family.
Mary Hughes & Maxine Wallis, McPherson Community Theatre board, shared information about their upcoming musical State Fair and encouraged everyone to get involved. Whether your talents lie in acting, singing or dancing or if you just enjoy being part of the show by helping move props between scenes, it’s a fun family friendly environment and they always welcome new faces and ideas. The McPherson Community Theatre always has something in the works, with a musical each summer and a theatre production each fall.
