Member Spotlight- McPherson Pipeliners Baseball

It’s game time! For those that have been anxiously awaiting summertime and the McPherson Pipeliners Baseball games, the season has begun. Established in 2018, the McPherson Pipeliners Baseball team lead by Chad Pinson is bringing everyone’s favorite summer sport back to McPherson. Chad Pinson has been diligently working with the McPherson community all year to put the necessary pieces together. Banners of the community sponsors line the ball field, so you know who to thank for the Free admission. Host families open their homes to players from around the world, a win-win for the players to receive McPherson hospitality and for the families who enjoy new friendships. College interns have been busy with social media and marketing. Check out the McPherson Pipeliners Baseball Facebook page. And we wouldn’t have a game without great coaches and ball players. Head Coach Chris Dawson and Assistant Coach Doug Gove have helped to recruit talented players from more than 12 states and even Venezuela! Next Generation Pipeliners! The McPherson Pipeliners are sponsoring a free Little Liner camp on Friday, June 28th from 6-9 pm. for kids ages 7-12. Registration for the camp is on the Pipeliners website www.mcphersonpipelinersbaseball.com and the deadline to register is June 7th. The participants will practice with the McPherson Pipeliners Baseball players and get instruction on hitting, throwing, and fielding, then they will take the field with players on Saturday, June 29.
