It was a beautiful day for a ribbon cutting as the McPherson Chamber of Commerce officially welcomed Elliott Law LLC to the community August 14th. Located at 803 N. Main Street, the new office space marks an exciting new chapter for attorney Ann Elliott, who previously practiced at Wise & Reber. With friends, colleagues, and community leaders in attendance, the celebration highlighted not only Ann’s professional journey but also the strong relationships she’s built throughout her life. Chamber Ambassador Austin Russell, a high school classmate of Ann’s, recalled, “She’s just always been super smart, super helpful… If you would have told me then that she would be a very successful attorney, I would have said, yeah, absolutely.”

Chamber Board President Carlyn Lemon echoed that sentiment, saying, “I have known Ann for several years since I moved to the community… I’m excited to see you take this new step!” Mayor Tom Brown also offered congratulations during the event, noting Ann’s dual role as City Attorney: “She’s doing a great job for us and for the community and I know that there are bigger and better things yet to come.” Ann shared that her legal practice is centered around family law, municipal law, and healthcare law, while also handling a limited number of business matters. Reflecting on how she entered the profession, she credited her early experiences working in a law office with attorneys Brett Reber and David Harger, and her high school involvement in debate as key inspirations.
