30 May Member Spotlight – Mac-Town Crossfit
Mac-Town Crossfit is more than a gym, it is a family! “Once you’ve decided you’re going to make your health a priority, we will come alongside you with a plan and support system that helps you achieve your goals.” The team at Mac-Town Crossfit can help you get a personalized exercise and nutrition plan.
Owner Sarah Muehler says, “Our mission is to relentlessly pursue excellence in our fitness, relationships, and life. We believe we are better together.” Mac-Town Crossfit offers a variety of programs and classes for every person from every walk of life. They have traditional Crossfit, kids programs, Legends 60+, and even offer off-class access.
Mac-Town Crossfit has started a new non-profit program at their gym called FYR: Forging Youth Resilience. This program is dedicated to providing access to a health program to kids who would otherwise not have access to it. This program seeks not only to achieve fitness goals but also mental health goals. Each student is asked each day, “How are you doing mentally?” Meaghan Reamy is the coach for this program and is looking for more ways to get the community involved. If you have any questions or would like to get involved with FYR, contact Meaghan at 620-755-1905.
