Phil Walters O.D. hosted the Chamber coffee to share information about their services, introduce staff, welcome everyone to their redecorated office and promote their Frame Style Show. Walters, who has been practicing in McPherson since 2010, provides eye exams for contacts, sunglasses and prescription glasses as well as examining the health of your eyes by utilizing the latest equipment. The Optomap Retinal Imaging gives a detailed view of the back of the eye and can help detect early indicators of cataracts, glaucoma or other problems. The great part of this equipment is it also allows Dr. Walters to “see” the back of the eye without the need for dilation drops! To accommodate various schedules, Walter’s Optometry opens at 8 a.m., offers lunch time appointments and is open later on Tuesdays, so call 241-9600 to get scheduled.
