The holidays will soon be here and the McPherson Chamber and McPherson Main Street have already begun preparations for — “McPherson … where Santa Shops!” Putting together an extensive promotion such as this takes many hours of planning and marketing and we hope that our members take advantage of our efforts and our ability to combine the various advertising markets with our non-profit status to make your money go even farther. After the 2017 holiday promotion we documented attendees from 105 Kansas communities and 11 other states, with 7,570 entries representing $378,500 spent in the 24 Candy Cane Cash participating stores alone. WOW! Santa definitely did some shopping in McPherson!
