8th Graders Recognized with OMEGA for Making a Difference

Kids are making a difference and we wanted to let them to know someone has noticed and appreciates their positive actions.  The OMEGA award was created by the McPherson Chamber of Commerce as a way to recognize Outstanding McPherson area Eighth Graders who are good role models; demonstrating leadership, service, courage and compassion to benefit others.  These students were nominated for leading by example, for encouraging others with a kind word or a smile or for giving of their time and talents to make a difference in our community.

You are invited to attend the award presentation of the Outstanding McPherson Area Eighth Grade Award (OMEGA) winners, during the Thursday, May 10th May Fete activities at McPherson High School.

The students we are honoring with the 2012 OMEGA are: Olivia Rettig, Jeileen Cruz and Marshall Williford of Elyria; Austin Frank and Jewell Croley from Inman and the McPherson honorees are Janae McKinney, Jacob Loecker, Anna Bahr and Michael Smith.

Thank you for being an inspiration to us all!
