Leadership McPherson believes that every individual matters and should be involved in the decisions made for our community, regardless of position or title in the community. If you would like to be a part of an excellent program that focuses on leadership skills training that can be used at home, in the workplace, or within any group of people, we encourage you to enroll in Leadership McPherson.
The McPherson Chamber of Commerce is taking enrollment now for the 2012 Leadership McPherson Class. The 2012 Leadership McPherson class will begin with a reception hosted by the Leadership Alumni & Board of Trustees scheduled for June 28 – 7:00 p.m. Then class members will participant in the required overnight retreat at Crosswinds Conference Center in Hesston ( July 12 & 13), followed by eight (8) morning sessions (8:30 a.m. to 12:00 on occasion 1:00 p.m. with lunch included), August 7, 21, 28, September 18, October 2, 16, 20 and concluding with the November 13 session and class celebration luncheon.
There is a fee, which includes overnight retreat, meals, materials and snacks. There are scholarships available to help with program costs.
The Leadership McPherson program is worth two credit hours through Hutchinson Community College for an additional charge assessed by the College. For more information contact Hutchinson Community College @ McPherson 245-0202.
