LaVon Ediger to be presented Chamber President’s Award
Each year beginning in 1966, the McPherson Chamber of Commerce Past Presidents have selected a person to honor who has unselfishly given of their time for the betterment of the business community in McPherson and whose contribution is readily identifiable and has made a long term impact. This year, the Chamber is pleased to be honoring Mr. LaVon Ediger, who will be the 56th recipient of the award.
The Chamber will also recognize retired board members: Josh Menard – Swindoll, Janzen, Hawk & Loyd; Katie Sawyer – Sawyer Land & Cattle; Adrian Morales – Hess Oil; and Tom Saffel – Prairie Landworks.
The 2018-2019 Board of Directors Aaron Mayfield – Edward Jones; Brad Mears – Kansas Municipal Utilities; Amy Beckman –Energy Construction Solutions; Justin Kaufman – Swindoll, Janzen, Hawk & Loyd; Brad Bengtson – Home State Bank & Trust; Janey Anderson – A5 Western; Gordon Mohn – USD #418; Chuck Singleton – Central States Marketing & Mfg; Kelly Pitts – PrairieLand Partners; Dr. Trent Timson – Community Foot Clinic of McPherson; Shannon Brake – McPherson Public Library; and Alex Graber – Graber’s Ace Hardware will be introduced during the meeting and lunch.
The McPherson Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting is scheduled for Monday, November 26 at 11:30 a.m. on the campus of McPherson College in Mingenback Theatre. Cost is $25.00 per person and includes lunch. Reservations are required and must be received by Wednesday, November 21st by calling the McPherson Chamber at 241-3303.
