Member Spotlight- Ad Astra Radio
Ad Astra Radio may be new to town, but the local radio station has a rich history. The local radio station was started in 1949 from four original investors. Throughout the years the radio station has been playing great music while promoting the local community.
Ad Astra Radio acquired the local station in June and continue to promote the local community. Ad Astra Radio started in 1986 by Cliff Shank in Hutchinson, KS. Cliff and the team have done a great job in growing the Ad Astra Radio brand and currently have four radio stations in Hutchinson playing a variety of genre of music. Cliff’s son, Chris took over and Ad Astra Radio has not missed a beat. With Chris’ leadership, they were able to acquire the McPherson radio stations, connecting even more to local communities.
Ad Astra Radio has a great crew that love the local community. Chris and the team want to promote the local community as much as possible.
