Member Spotlight- Edward Jones, Trent Ruxlow
For residents of McPherson and the surrounding area, the Edward Jones office of Financial Advisor Trent Ruxlow, CEPA®, along with Branch Office Administrator Lacey Morgan, offers personalized financial guidance with a strong emphasis on client service. Located at 1315 E. First Street, the office works with individuals and families on a variety of financial goals, from planning for retirement and saving for a child or grandchild’s education to protecting the financial future of those they care about most. At Edward Jones they take time to listen to each client’s circumstances, understand their needs, and develop an individualized strategy designed around their goals.
For Trent, serving the McPherson community has a special family connection. His grandparents, Larry and Helen Ruxlow, opened an Edward Jones office in McPherson in 1978 and remained with the company through 1996. What they started nearly five decades ago has since grown into four Edward Jones offices and six licensed advisors in McPherson. A lifelong McPherson resident, Trent earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from McPherson College and began his career with Edward Jones in 2017. Over the years, he has helped local clients develop specific financial strategies, monitor their progress and make adjustments when their circumstances or goals change. Lacey, also a lifetime member of the McPherson community, brings 21 years of experience serving clients as a paraprofessional at Hugo Dahlstrom CPA before joining Trent’s office in 2022.
At the Edward Jones office on E. First Street, investing time in clients is central to the way Trent and Lacey serve the community. They focus on listening, understanding each client’s situation and helping them work toward their individual financial goals. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with appointments also available.
