Les and Shirley Jantz have been involved in the lumber and hardware business for many years, eventually purchasing Harris Lumber in 1985 and renaming it Jantz Lumber and Hardware. (check out the vintage photo on our Facebook page) Although Les and Shirley still own Jantz Lumber and Hardware, Tony and Joleen Jantz are Vice-Presidents and busy with the day-to-day operations. Tony shared a time-line for the Chamber Connection crowd, indicating that he started working at Harris Lumber in 1974 and Joleen began in 1987 when it was Jantz Lumber and Hardware. We also took a trip back in time, leafing through photo books of the 1990 remodel and even recognizing a few community members in their younger days.
