Member Spotlight – Julie Johnson Studio and Event Center
Julie Johnson Studio and Event Center is an upscale and trendy event venue that requires little to no effort by the hostess. The space is ideal for small, intimate gatherings such as baby showers, bridal showers, and parties. Julie has designed the studio to showcase the structure, lighting, and space, resulting in a chic, unique venue with an eclectic vibe. With a flexible, open floorplan, the layout can be configured in a variety of ways to make the event one to remember!
Julie Johnson Studio and Event Center will hold approximately 40-50 people, handicap accessible, extra lounge room, tables, tablecloths and chairs, use of a photo booth, and use of kitchenette. You can rent the event center for $225 for 2 hours with each additional hour costing $85.
On the photography side, Julie Johnson has dialed back the types of photography events she shoots. Julie especially loves three areas; 1. Newborns. She said, “It’s just a snapshot in time… moms will come back to me and show me how much has changed since that time.” 2. Families. She loves the connection families have. Her sessions are casual and fun, “Even dads will say it was easy.” and 3. Boudoir. “Through boudoir, I help women see the beauty that is already in them.”
