Member Spotlight – McPherson Public Library
The McPherson Public Library has something for everyone: programming, computers, Wi-Fi, book clubs, community rooms, thousands of books, CDs, DVDs, and more! As a public library, they are dynamic and ever-changing to meet the needs and opportunities of their patrons and our community. If you need internet at home, the Library can provide mobile Wi-Fi hotspots. If you are needing a book and cannot get out, the library does book delivery. With your library card, you can even rent out Experience Passes. These passes will allow you to get into some fun places throughout the state, like local museums, the Cosmosphere, or Botanica.
The McPherson Public Library also does the StoryWalk at Memorial Park. Each of the fixtures features two pages from a children’s picture book, with the story unfolding as you walk. The Library updates the stories each month (weekly during the summer). Bring the kiddos out and enjoy the time outside and a story.
