Member Spotlight – McPherson Quality Air
McPherson Quality Air hosted the May 9th Chamber Connection at their office located at 501 N. 81 Bypass.
Since Jeff Wilson and Kevin Sales started McPherson Quality Air in 2013, the company has taken pride in its work and focused on clients’ HVAC needs as a priority. Their team is NATE certified, drug-free, trained, and certified to perform some of the best HVAC services in the community.
They now have 19 employees and a service area that includes not only McPherson but also Ellsworth, Hutchinson, Marion, Great Bend, Wichita, Salina, and Lyons. They run as many as twelve crews, and just last week had crews in Texas, Colorado, and Oklahoma.
“We cover a pretty big footprint for a little tiny shop,” said Gene Wilson. “We did just over $4 million in sales last year so I’m pretty proud of what all of us have done, starting with Jeff and Kevin eleven years ago.”
Gene, who bought Kevin Sales’ half of the business when he retired in 2020, announced at the Chamber Connection that he is selling his half to his brother Jeff, who will then be the principal owner at the end of May. Jared Evans is buying into the business.
McPherson Quality Air services include air conditioning, heating, indoor air quality (i.e. air purifiers and humidification), heat pumps, ductless HVAC services, sewer inspections, and plumbing.
