Pizza Ranch & FunZone Arcade, located at 206 N. Main, is preparing to celebrate its second anniversary in the McPherson community next month, marking two years of serving up food, fun, and community connection. Co-owner and manager Donnie Bean expressed gratitude for the local support, thanking residents for “supporting Pizza Ranch and sending folks their way.” Known as a family-friendly buffet restaurant, Pizza Ranch offers a wide variety of options, including pizza and chicken buffets, a salad bar, desserts, and customizable pizzas with numerous toppings and crust choices. Guests can also enjoy gluten-sensitive and vegetarian options, making it a welcoming spot for a wide range of dietary preferences.
Bean emphasized that Pizza Ranch’s purpose extends beyond food service, highlighting the company’s deeper mission. “If you’ve never been to Pizza Ranch, a little bit about us— our vision is to glorify God and positively impact the world, and we do that by giving back to the community a lot,” he said. Community involvement is central to that mission, especially through their Community Impact Fundraising Events. “It’s not just about us making money; it’s about the community and impacting the world,” Bean added. These events, typically held on Monday nights, donate 10% of sales to local nonprofits and community groups that participate by busing tables that evening. “We are looking to lock in Community Impacts for Monday nights… We want to be a part of that,” he explained.
Looking ahead, Pizza Ranch is also bringing new opportunities to McPherson. Majority owner Joe Parrott shared some exciting news: “We just became one of the eight stores in the United States to be a training store… We’re going to have people from all over the United States come in here for up to eight weeks at a time.” This development is expected to benefit local hotels, shops, and the broader downtown area. Beyond dining, Pizza Ranch offers catering for groups of all sizes. “We can cater you five times a week and not give you the same meal… We can do five people to 1000 people, whatever you need, we can take care of you,” Bean said, adding with a smile, “I’m your catering guy!” Whether guests are enjoying the buffet, hosting events in the private meeting room, or playing games in the FunZone Arcade, Pizza Ranch continues to position itself as a hub for food, fun, and community impact.
