Member Spotlight- Shoe Sensation
Members and guests of the McPherson Chamber of Commerce gathered at Shoe Sensation, 2210 E. Kansas Ave., for the latest Chamber Connections event, where guests had the opportunity to meet staff members, learn about upcoming promotions, and browse the store’s wide selection of footwear and accessories. Store Manager Brenda Grant, Assistant Manager Keeshia Naerebout, and Assistant Manager Michelle King welcomed attendees, answered questions, and assisted shoppers throughout the event.
Brenda highlighted one of the store’s biggest summer promotions, saying, “July 11th we are having a Big Tent Event with Ad Astra Radio … lots of good sidewalk sales. “We’re going to have an ice cream truck out front.” The event is from 1-3 and will also include baked goods from a vendor. So, mark your calendar on July 11th for Shoe Sensation’s Big Tent Event from 1 p.m.-3 p.m.! Shoes and yummy things to eat while you shop! It’s a sale you won’t want to miss!
Brenda also shared details about a special back-to-school event designed specifically for local educators. “We’re doing a Teacher’s Event specifically for the teachers, opening an hour early, from eight to nine.” Teachers attending the Aug. 8 event will enjoy breakfast, exclusive discounts, and the chance to win. Teachers can register “to win a $200 drawing for their classroom – for whatever they want to do. It can be a pizza party, a popcorn movie- whatever they want to do for their class treat.”
Beyond its special events, Shoe Sensation offers footwear for every member of the family, from infant and toddler shoes to athletic, casual, dress, and work styles. Customers can also find Skechers Hands Free Slip-Ins and Skechers Kids shoes featuring hidden compartments for Apple AirTags. Shoe Sensation remains active in the community through its support of the McPherson Optimist Club’s Kicks for Kids program and also by providing a collection bin for new socks to be donated for the McPherson Housing Coalition.
