Member Spotlight – The Cook’s Nook

The Cook’s Nook is located in the heart of downtown McPherson. The Cook’s Nook was started in 1988 by Priscilla Smith as more of a hobby. Priscilla realized that the McPherson community needed help with bridal registry. In short, she wanted to help those who were preparing to begin a new and exciting phase of life. Jonna started working with her mom in 1996 and eventually took over ownership. The Cook’s Nook was created to celebrate family and food. This year, they will be celebrating 35 years worth of Christmas’ in downtown McPherson.

If you ask Jonna what brings the most joy to her day, the answer is simple: “I like to be the final stop.” The Cook’s Nook is a one stop shop from top of the line cookware, bakeware, dishes, cutlery, gadgets, kitchen essentials, gourmet food, home décor, and SO much more.
