2021 Legislative Update
The Civic Awareness Committee of the McPherson Chamber has scheduled a Legislative Update to learn about the critical and timely legislation our representatives are working on. The community is invited to attend the 2021 Legislative Update from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday, April 10th. We will host the in-person event at the Kansas Municipal Utilities, 2090 East Ave. A, McPherson, KS. The Legislative Update will also be streamed live on the McPherson Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.
The McPherson Chamber is pleased to provide the opportunity for the community to hear from our state legislators. Attending will be Kansas Representatives Les Mason (73rd District), Stephen Owens (74th District), Steven Johnson (District 108), and U.S. Congressman Tracey Mann. Kansas Senator Richard Wilborn has a prior commitment and will not be able to attend.
The McPherson Chamber Legislative Update is open to the public and community members are encouraged to attend. Because Governor Kelly’s mask mandate is still in effect, we will have face masks available for attendees. We appreciate KMU’s sponsorship of the facility and drinks.
