Family Fair- A FREE Community Event
Family Fair 2013 – AFM 11×17 HThe McPherson County Coalition for Children and Families (M.C.C.C.F.) invites you to join us on Tuesday, April 16 for the bi-annual Family Fair to be held at the 4-H Building (710 W. Woodside) in McPherson. The fair will run from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. There will be a free healthy meal, fun activities for everyone & door prize drawings every 15 minutes! Grand prizes include a season pass to McPherson Water Park & a family portrait session by Shannon Achilles Photography. There is nothing to buy at the Family Fair, just great ideas & useful resources for building positive, happy kids & healthy families from local non-profits & youth serving organizations.
The Family Fair is an opportunity to learn about the many organizations & groups who serve families or children and take part in fun activities to promote happy healthy families. The Family Fair originated with the BASIC (Education) Committee of the Chamber in 2003 to encourage the 40 developmental assets -building blocks of healthy development that help young people grow up healthy, caring and responsible. The McPherson Chamber BASIC Committee has since merged with the MCCCF and continues to help organize and promote the Bi-Annual Family Fair.
