2012 Farm Forum
The McPherson Chamber of Commerce Farm Forum breakfast “EPA & Agriculture Working Together . .Everybody Wins!” was held Thursday, January 19. The Farm Forum is organized by the Agriculture Committee and Farm Forum Committee Chair, Dale Ladd, K-State Research & Extension-McPherson County. This years speaker, Karl Brooks, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 7 Administrator embraced the theme of the Farm Forum with an invitation for open communiction between the agriculture comunity and the EPA. In addition to the keynote speaker, the Farm Forum committee recognized Fran Stucky with the “Friend of Agriculture” award and Allan & Deanna Sents received the “Farm Family” of the year.
