When Pigs Fly scheduled for Aug 26 & 27

Since 2000, the When Pigs Fly BBQ Contest & Fly In, a Kansas City BBQ Society sanctioned event has raised nearly $37,000 for the Agriculture Future for America Scholarship fund. The scholarships have been awarded to 13 McPherson County students pursuing studies in an agriculture related field. This event is organized by the McPherson Chamber of Commerce Agriculture Committee the weekend before Labor Day.
