Apt. 6 Volunteer

Apt. 6 Resale and Consignment Shop has been a valued part of the community since the 1980s, originally founded to support the restoration of the McPherson Opera House. Today, this all-volunteer shop continues to fund the Opera House’s operations through the sale of donated and consigned items.

Offering a wide selection—from clothing and furniture to home décor and kitchenware—Apt. 6 is known for its unique finds and loyal customers.

Volunteers help by accepting and sorting donations, pricing and displaying items, assisting customers, and running the cash register. Days and hours are flexible and can be coordinated with the shop manager. The store is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
